What to do when you love a house, but the listing agent says he has 3 offers already? The better question would be, where were you and your agent before this house was listed for sale?
Other important questions to consider in a Sellers Market are: Did you see the house on the first day of sale, or before? Did your agent meet with the listing agent in person or on the phone a few days earlier? What type of offer are you willing to give to the Seller? (what does that mean?) Will you be doing away with any of the contingencies? (inspection, time lines, appraisal, to name a few). How strong are your financials, what type of pre-approval letter do you have? What is the status with a personal introduction letter, is it even ethical?
There are many things to mark off when getting your purchase agreement accepted and many others when keeping the offer going all the way to closing day. Please give me a call for more ways to make your offer stand out, and not just by having a high priced offer. Realtors like to say: “The Best Offer is the one that will Close.” For you, that means getting the house that you want!
